Five-finger method: how to make your tomorrow better than the previous one



 The Five Fingers Method is a convenient method of summing up the day. Whether you are driving home in the evening on the subway, on the bus or in your car, hands on the handrail, or on the steering wheel, your fingers are in front of your eyes. Move, play with your fingers, and the first letter of the name of each finger will tell you what to think about in analyzing the day.



  1  Pinky - letter M. "I think means I exist" :


 What knowledge and experience did I gain today? What did he come up with, what did he hear from others? Where will it be useful to me? What mistakes were made today, what conclusions did you draw from their analysis, where and how can I use it?


  •  At least three good (interesting and practical) thought-finds - I think this is a mandatory minimum. More is possible, not less.




  2  Anonymous - B. "Close":


 What have I done for my family and friends? Every day, but at least one pleasant little thing for your loved ones must be done. In our culture, it is customary to sigh: "Here, I am guilty before my father and mother, I did not have time ..." Do not sigh.

  •  Call your parents!




  3  Medium - S. "State of Soul":


 What was my mood, state of mind today? Confident "good", a lively interest, bursts of joy, cheerful enthusiasm? Is the correct list. "Well, not bad", "nothing", "so-so", "bastards", "well why ?!"

  •  I will set the following task: “Every 15 minutes I will record my spiritual mood!




  4  Indicative - U. "Services":


 What services did I provide today, who was it useful to? Whose services could you use yourself, whom did you thank? By doing services, we create not only future mutual services: we create a positive attitude towards people and people towards us. “We love people not for the good that they have done to us, but for the good that we have done for them.

  •  Tomorrow a couple of minutes to talk with Eugene about the book he gave to see: he will be pleased.




  5  Big - B. "Physical vigor":


 How did I feel, what did I do today for my health, keeping in shape? I woke up on time, got up right away, exercise in order, shower and rubbing properly, poured water from a bucket - the morning was done well. I stayed too long at work, I ate too much at lunch, lethargic after lunch, the walk encouraged me - in the evening I must take a walk and go to bed on time.


  •  And at the end, squeeze your fingers into a Fist:




6  Letter K. "Concentration on purpose":


 What were my goals for today, how and how did I bring myself closer to the goal today? Imagined: at 23.00 hours, I'm in bed.


  •  Having looked at the main lines of the last day in this way, you form the basis for the correct construction of the day of tomorrow.
